The compact size-Nex 5's does create some problems, however. The most important thing is that it is very easy to block the focus-assist lamp (below the Sony logo next to the palm of the hand) with your fingers wrapped around the handle. This can cause problems in low light, as a contrast detection autofocus system does not rely somewhat on the AF assist lamp.
