Seagate Freeagent Go portable storage solution

The emergence of Seagate FreeAgent Go series of portable USB hard disk has not changed much since the last time we saw one year ago. 500GB model still has a slim, gray-white appearance of the same processor with a spiral pattern on the front that lights up and acts as an indicator of activity. Build quality does not mean thin, but not the plastic case feels almost as stiff as other portable disks we've seen.

Seagate FreeAgent Go uses a standard miniUSB cable, but Seagate also sells an optional docking station for an additional 13 pounds. We do not believe it's worth paying though - apart from looking good does not have advantages over miniUSB cable that extra cost just £ 5.
