How To Update Firmware Fuji X100

Fujifilm has released the promised fimware update for its x100 large sensor compact. firmware v1.10 includes 22 feature modifications and additions, including correction of several issues highlighted in our review of the camera.. Following recent updates to the x-pro1 and x-e1, fujifilm has released a major upgrade to the x100, the original (now-discontinued) x-series model, which was announced back in 2010. since its release, the x100 has benefitted from a series of major firmware improvements, and the latest - likely to be. Now a new folder 101_fuji had been automatically created and inside it was my latest photo correctly numbered dscf1366.raf. i guess number-wise that the 108 photos i took with the other sd card right after the firmware update becomes a bit "orphaned", but as long as i am aware of these being numbered differently, this was a small price to pay..

Since i raised this question of how best to accomplish an upgrade to our x100 firmware, i suppose i should ante up. for an upgrade very comparable to what has been created for the x-e1 & made available for the x-pro1 with v2.0, i know i would pay up to $50 & give serious consideration up to $100.. Update: since writing this post fujifilm have changed their instructions page to reflect this easier method. but don’t foget that an update will still wipe out all your current settings! finally got around to updating my x100’s firmware to 1.01 last night.. * if the version is the latest, the firmware update is not required. 3) prepare the formatted memory card. a formatted memory card is required for the firmware update. if the card is formatted, all the files including protected files in the card will be erased. if you need the files, copy them to a pc etc. before formatting the card. 1..
