Setting up Internet access on Sony Ericsson W810i

Many buy a contract phone will come with Internet settings are entered, but if not, it is very easy to set it up and get online. To do this you will need to obtain the following information from your network provider:


APN address - this will vary among network providers and type of contract (pay monthly or PAYG)

Username - usually something very simple, but differs between network providers.

Password - usually something very simple, but differs between network providers.

Proxy - a set of four numbers, each up to three digits long and separated by full stops.

Port number - usually a four digit number starting with 8 or 9.
